Thriving with AI @Work
Humans + AI at work can increase quality, quantity, and innovation. Here's how.
Hype aside, AI is reshaping any work that touches a keyboard. Thriving with AI @Work is my hub to share successful patterns that I'm seeing at the frontier.
I work in the AI epicenter running agent-native go-to-market (GTM) for Coval, a voice agent improvement platform. I apply AI tooling to every function that brings in revenue and keeps it: marketing, sales, customer success, support, revenue operations, business operations, legal, and finance. I've made a lot of mistakes and watched plenty more, and I've seen solo individuals and small teams achieve previously unfathomable results by using these tools well.
The future of work is very bright. I live this every day at my inspiring day job and I guide ambitious executive teams as a consultant. Then I write down what survives contact with real people doing real work.
Three frontiers
Agent-Native Revenue
A revenue system designed from first principles around the respective strengths of humans and AI agents.
Adding AI to yesterday's GTM only amplifies yesterday's problems and limitations. What are today's patterns that make the most of today's (and tomorrow's) technology?
Explore the frontier →AI Transformation
Human judgment, machine capability, and a business that can do more.
Change is hard, especially for organizations with existing processes that used to work. How might we inspire leaders and employees to gracefully adapt to today's possibilities?
Explore the frontier →Human-AI Collaboration
Remapping individual and team work at the pace of AI.
Working with agents has some similarities to, and many differences from, working with humans. Where do we need new methods to invite new levels of excellence?
Explore the frontier →The call ends. The work moves forward.
One customer conversation
Agents carry the context forward
- Extract
Goals, concerns, commitments, and supporting quotes. - Prepare
A follow-up draft and proposed next steps. - Maintain
The deal record, with links back to the evidence.
The person moves the relationship forward
- Interpret
What mattered? What is still unresolved? - Decide
Which commitment can we make, and what happens next? - Connect
Make the follow-up useful and personal. Own the conversation.
A better next conversation. What happens there updates the shared context for the next round.

Jul 25, 2026ThoughtToken debt
Token debt is having old recurring loops or cron jobs that are still running but are effectively useless.
Sep 8, 2026ThoughtParallel work and human review
One of the skills of working with AI is parallelizing work between sessions, models, and harnesses efficiently. Another is knowing how to stage long-horizon agent tasks to run in the background while doing the mandatory human review tasks in the foreground.
Sep 7, 2026ThoughtRaise the ceiling, not the floor
Every's answer to why AI rollouts stall: it's easier to raise the ceiling than the floor. One fluent person building ten reusable skills beats ten people each building one. That matches how I think about invitational excellence.
Sep 3, 2026ThoughtService accounts for scheduled agents
I am pulling scheduled work into service accounts with an agent framework. OpenClaw was a hard no; Vercel's Eve is next.
Aug 12, 2026ThoughtAI needs an org chart
Team mode with AI is uneven. I am learning the boundaries between skills, workflows, spawned agents, and named agents.
